SCHOOL WORK

We offer short-term, long-term, or ad hoc contracts to schools.  Our packages are bespoke and are tailored to meet the needs of each individual school.  Smaller primary schools for example, employ our services for one-off assessments or training, as and when needs arise.  Larger schools and academies often purchase a set number of visits to meet their needs, this usually ranges from 6 to 30 sessions per year.

Each school can choose how they use their purchased sessions and payments include the admin time taken for the EP to write reports or create the training sessions unless agreed otherwise.  Schools can use their EP in a variety of ways and all options can be discussed and explored.

ASSESSMENTS

We offer consultation and assessments for statutory (e.g. EHCPNA, annual reviews) or non-statutory purposes.  We are also able to train staff to complete school-based assessments.

TRAINING

We offer a number of different training sessions which can take place on inset days, during the working week, or in twilight sessions - depending on availability.  Please let us know the topic you would like to explore and we can confirm if this is something we are able to deliver.

INTERVENTIONS

We can recommend, deliver or train staff to deliver, evaluate, and provide supervision, for a number of different interventions aimed at developing a child or young person's cognition and learning skills or emotional well-being.  Our most frequent request from schools at the moment is for Precision Teaching/Monitoring.

STAFF OR PARENT SUPPORT

We offer professional supervision, or group problem solving sessions, such as using solution circles, with staff and/or parents.  We can offer coffee mornings, drop-in 'surgeries', and many more alternative ways of working.

SYSTEMIC CHANGE AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT

We are able to work closely with schools to undertake or review a needs analysis and develop policies, systems, or strategic plans, in order to improve outcomes for children and young people across the whole school.
